Outpatient Therapy
providing comprehensive systems of support
Lakemary provides Outpatient Therapy services to children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), including Autism Spectrum Disorder, who struggle with emotion regulation, social interactions, disruptive thoughts and behaviors, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
We offer individual, group, and family therapy in both Miami and Johnson Counties. It is our goal to provide a managed continuum of care designed to provide a comprehensive system of treatment and support.
individual therapy
- Typically, individuals participate in therapy on a weekly basis with sessions averaging 45 minutes. Individual treatment plans are developed upon admission and reviewed on a regular basis to determine treatment needs.
family therapy
- We offer high quality services accessible to families with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who receive positive support plans and treatment opportunities from our licensed clinical staff.
group therapy
- We offer various group therapy options for adults. These sessions help individuals develop skills necessary to support and maintain personal relationships.
All of our Lakemary therapists are licensed at the Master’s level. Clinician certified specialties include Play Therapy, Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA), Certified Autism Specialist, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies.
